Insurance is rising...gas price is rising....health care cost is rising thesedays as well...

Well at least there is a cheaper way to fill prescriptions .  US companies and pharmacies make way too much money on drugs.  In canada, you can get prescriptions filled at sometimes up to 50 to 85% off the regular price. Can't tell you which drug I'm looking at but even with insurance coverage sometimes its still less than the co-pay, really makes u wonder.

 Check out http://www.canadapharmacy.com/

Just read this article on senior prescription costs

SENIORS' PRESCRIPTION DRUG COSTS: Rx for hope and frustration Canada offers big savings, but U.S. reimportation bill stalls

Tired of those popup ads?  Suspicious programs automatically gets installed when u hop on a site?

Lavasoft Ad-aware 6.0 Professional works wonders .  Here's where you can download and installs it for free:

I was totally tired of pop up ads, and decide today once and for all I should clean up my work computer of all those PARASITES that slows it down.  My gizmo co-worker shared with me this great program you can download that "catches" all the spy ware, data mining programs.  I ran this and got the all time high in my office, hahaha, 300+ items it caught , Clearsearch, Download-ware, dataminer etc.   shows u what i have been doing in the office.   No wonder my computer has been acting funny lately!!! Somethings you should know:

- If you are a frequent computer user like me you should run this once a  week to rid of all those things you dont want hidden in your comp.  Just run it every once a while depending on how often u use the comp.  I plan to clean up my home comp too, so tired of all those pop ups.

- There's an auto-update feature.   Some poor IT guy actually goes and finds all the harmful programs out there weekly and lists them in the updated versions.

- After u've purged everything the program caught, you should still let the Ad-Watch portion of it work and be a silent watcher in the background.  It acts as a guard to block out all those nasty programs trying to run in the background when you are not aware.

Pride is a weird weird thing...they can really screw things up and make everything weird and uncomforable and yet at the same time...u got to respect it and follow it cuz its ur nature, ur core and what makes u someone who can stand up be proud of ur strength...

With the dose of pride.....there's pretend coldness, defense mechanisms, forced rationale against emotional weaknesses, decisive cutoffs, sometimes even revenge and its sad cuz if both parties are not able to let go some of that pettyness.....then they're pretty much screwed really in any sort of relationship in which that sensitive pandora's box has already been violated....

Say a friendship may be renewed but open communication would never be the same again...on account of pride one party would never wanna humble themselves to admit their mistakes and on that note the other probably will not forgive entirely unless one does.  So where does that leave you?  Perhaps attemps at friendship renewal, forced politeness, awkward and sensitively guarded conversations in which every detailed misdemeanor is interpretted outta proportions and probably eventually fizzling off...and u're left wondering....hey where did that once-a-upon-a-time genuine and open connection went?

ahhh human nature sucks that's all i can say...and i'm a mean mean culprit as well...

Its time I write about something that i'm strongly passionate about...

Some one have told me "honestly, when i first met you, i didn't have that much of respect for you as i do now..."

The topic is about images and its so sad and unfortunate that most people dont look beyond the surface...

For example, there's a group of ppl i know freshmen year and all they see and what theys still see when they look at me is a SPECIFIC TYPE thats only into clothes, makeup, shopping, parties, boys and do not bother looking deeper...That saddens and offends me like nothing else...

Certainly the clothes/makeup/fun part is an aspect of me, but what they do not see are my tremendous innate ambitions, my tenacity in times of hardship, my dedication and hardwork towards goals or causes that really matter to me.  What would they think if they knew I once beared the responsibility of having my parents incommunicado in Chinese Jail?  Having to come to College alone the first year, paying rent/bills/managing the family bank account, etc., having to make new friends, maintaining a GPA and all the while wondering if I might ever see my parents alive again?  What would they think if they knew I've actually had 4.0s, I'm an President of an Organization and that I've even worked for a human rights cause that I strongly believed in?  Or that I have strong ethics and i am actually a committed girlfriend?  Haha i think they'd fall off their chair...

On the other hand in a bigger picture, everyone has bias and I am a culprit as well.  If i see someone who's fashionably dressed, who flirts, who acts ditzy, in no way would I have thought he/she was intelligent.  But on a personal level, I feel strongly offended by the superficiality of having my natural, silly personality judged as my ultimate maturity and intelligence....

Some other interesting comments:

I remember Alice once told me after Finance "you always act cutsy and girly with him...of course he's not gonna think u're smart...but I know u can do anything u put ur mind to."

My mom once said "your greatest strength in business is that ppl think you're silly and harmless so they wont be wary with you.  But underneath is a brain that's always ticking."

yeahhhh i think i just need to don a pair of C.S. glasses...ahhh but then my VANITY gets in the way!!!
